Kylie Bechard, PA-C
Kylie Bechard, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in medical and surgical dermatology. A Columbus, Georgia native, Kylie is passionate about providing personalized, evidence-based dermatologic care to patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, rosacea, skin cancer screenings, and a wide range of other dermatologic conditions, with a particular interest in the treatment and management of acne.
Kylie earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Auburn University, where she was also a Division I collegiate soccer player. She went on to earn her Master of Health Science through the Physician Assistant Studies program at the University of South Alabama.
Kylie’s connection to Southeast Dermatology Specialists began before physician assistant school, when she worked as a medical assistant at the Columbus office. It was during this experience that her passion for dermatology grew and ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in the specialty. Returning to the practice where her journey in dermatology began is especially meaningful to Kylie, and she is grateful for the opportunity to care for patients and families in the community she has always called home.
Kylie takes a patient-centered approach to care and strives to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and confident in their treatment plan. She takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options in an approachable, easy-to-understand way while providing thoughtful, evidence-based recommendations. Whether treating a common skin concern or managing a more complex dermatologic condition, Kylie works collaboratively with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan that aligns with their needs, lifestyle, and personal goals.
Deeply rooted in the Columbus community, Kylie is proud to return home and serve the area that helped shape her. Her father, Jerome “Boom Boom” Bechard, is also a longtime member of the Columbus community and is well known locally through his involvement in hockey. Outside of caring for patients, Kylie enjoys cooking, exercising, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
