Amanda Sanders, PA-C
Amanda Sanders is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. With more than a decade of experience in dermatologic care, Amanda is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy skin through personalized, evidence-based treatment plans. She believes that education, prevention, and open communication are essential to providing exceptional patient care, and she strives to help every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their skin.
Amanda earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School after completing the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program at the Medical College of Georgia. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from South Carolina State University. Her diverse clinical background and advanced training allow her to provide comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages.
Amanda diagnoses and treats a wide range of medical skin conditions, including acne, actinic keratoses, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, contact dermatitis, skin cancer, molluscum contagiosum, and other common skin conditions. She also performs a variety of in-office surgical procedures, including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage, and excisional surgery.
In addition to medical dermatology, Amanda offers cosmetic services designed to help patients look and feel their best. Her aesthetic expertise includes neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for hair restoration, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual goals.
Amanda is passionate about advancing the physician assistant profession and has been an active leader within the dermatology community. She is a member of the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants (GDPA), where she has previously served as Secretary and Co-Chair, and is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA), where she previously served on the Membership Committee.
Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys staying active in her Dunwoody community, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and son.
